Hey guys!
First off, I am so sorry that I have not posted anything for about... *AHH* 4 months. I have been incredibly busy with both my own blog and school work. I know right? It's a pain.
But I'm back! I will be posting every week about something Sweet Evil/Kaidan related to keep ya all happy. (;
Now, there's a whole load of Sweet Evil news to share!
1. Wendy has posted some Sweet Peril teasers:
The look in his eyes dared me to pull away again. I sunk my fingers into the hair at the nape of his neck.
“I’m trying to talk to you,” I said.
“Yes, I know. But I’d rather not.”
In one step he had me against the table, the back of my thighs hitting the edge as he pressed his body flush against mine.
A whimpering gasp sounded from my lips.
I tried not to stutter, grasping his hair tighter. “I need you to be serious.”
His blue eyes scorched me. “Oh, I’ve never been more serious.”
And:
He’d hurt me plenty, and I refused to be his punching bag.
I wanted to stare Kaidan down, but when he turned to face me I was distracted by the girth of body beneath his face. I eyed the layers of muscle in his arms, chest, and abs. He was ripped! Was he living at the gym these days? His already toned belly now boasted a six-pack. Muscles didn’t usually do it for me, but I had to admit his tall frame wore it well. I swallowed and looked back up where he’d been patiently waiting for me to finish my perusal.
I cleared my throat and crossed my arms.
Ah, they're pretty awesome, right? April can't come soon enough!
2. Wendy has a giveaway going on on her blog for ARCs of Sweet Peril.
3. Wendy also has a contemporary book being released in March as an Ebook from HarperTeen Impulse:
Release Date: March 5, 2013
He was fifteen and she was seventeen.
When sophomore Ryan "The Kid" McPhearson makes the Varsity baseball team, he finds himself submersed in the life of upperclassmen and falling in love with senior Brooke Bennet.
To Ryan she's his dream girl, perfect.
Maybe to the outside world a two-year age difference doesn't matter, but this is high school.
Everything matters.
Ryan soon realizes Brooke's life is not so perfect. He becomes her closest friend, her safe place to fall when she needs to escape. Ryan seems to be benched in the friend zone with no chance to bat.
Time is both a curse and a blessing. It ushers Brooke away to college, and Ryan into the arms of his first girlfriend. It alters Ryan from a kid to a high school graduate, ready to venture to college himself. But when Ryan sees Brooke again he realizes there are some things even time can't touch.
Though much has changed, one question still remains. Will the things that mattered in high school continue to stand between them?
I'm so excited.... AND I JUST CAN'T HIDE IT!
